Hi, everyone and welcome! A bit about the blog…
Around this time last year, God put it on my heart to start a blog and offer free crochet patterns and “how to” tutorials. I was unsure where to began at first, but I’m happy to say that this dream has finally been realized!.. My blog, the “Bow Blog” as I’ve been calling it, will feature free crochet patterns, “how to” tutorials, additional crafting projects like sewing, knit, and costume design and a bit of Southern lifestyle & travel.
I began small with my Southern Style Bow, Emma Bow and Florence Turban Patterns as well a Faux Fur Pom Pom tutorial. All are available in the blog posts below. I’ll be adding additional patterns for old designs (food inspired bows, ombrés, ribbon/burlap bows, cowls, beanies, bonnets, etc.) as well as patterns for new designs as I create them! My pattern writing style is extremely casual as I’ve never made anything from a pattern in my life. I have included photos, and I am also working towards filming short videos! Please let me know what you think and if there are any specific patterns you would like to see featured. Per usual, the focus of my shop and blog will be baby and children items with a few adult items thrown into the mix on occasion.
I haven’t been this excited about something in a really long time so I truly hope you all enjoy! The handmade community has done so much for me over the last three years, and this is my attempt at giving back and hopefully spreading a little positivity in the process. God bless and happy bow making! Please tag me in photos.. I can’t wait to see your creations! 😘📝💻🎀
